About Me

My photo
Arnab Bagchi
It all began in 1998 – a basic camera and the cheapest film roll available in the market then; since then I have unrolled quite a few film rolls and kept it rolling. Currently, working as a communication and branding analyst with one the “Big Fours,” but time and profession has not seized the passion for photography! During my graduation, I started experimenting with photography. A self-taught photographer, with an intention to capture moment as it is, as it can be before it slips away (Decisive moment – Henri Cartier Bresson). People, places, culture, wide-open sky, lonely pigeons, crowded streets, a desolate red teashop, monuments standing tall – all appeal to me. I like portraiture, journalistic documentation of the society, live performance, landscapes …, and what not – I like every aspect of life. I am not saying that photography is my life, but without it, my life would be no life at all! Please visit my page to glance at my work; and if you like, please comment.
